Yorkindness shines at Pontefract and Artisan Dancer scores for Partners

Johnston Racing continued its good spell of form with an across-the-card double on Sunday, August 20. Paul York’s Yorkindness (pictured above) has developed a real liking for Pontefract and, despite having to concede weight all round, the filly made it three wins from three runs there when landing the stayers’ handicap under Joe Fanning. The double was completed at Southwell, where Artisan Dancer seemed to enjoy the return to a Tapeta surface and led inside the final furlong to secure a handicap win over a mile and three furlongs in the hands of Oli Stammers.
