Sir Ron Priestley marches on Goodwood!
Paul Dean’s Sir Ron Priestley, pictured, made virtually all at Goodwood in the March Stakes. The Group 3, run in memory of John Dunlop, attracted five runners. Franny Norrton partnered the three-year-old son of Australia who won the 14-furlong contest by a length and a quarter.
Earlier in the afternoon, Hamdan Al Maktoum’s Huraiz won the six-furlong novice under Dane O’Neill at Newmarket by a short head. The homebred son of Sepoy has won his two starts to date.
