Oh Boy! What a night at Chelmsford!

On an evening when Boyzone were preparing to steal the show at Chelmsford, the MJR team made its mark by winning two of the valuable prizes on offer.
First, Masham Star, owned by 3 Battterhams and A Reay, beat stable companion Sutter County by a head in a thrilling finish at the all-weather track. P J McDonald made his move on Masham Star in the final furlong and got to the line a head in front of James Doyle aboard Sutter County. As the picture above shows, it will be a night to remember!
The double was completed when Cape Bunting and James Doyle took the seven-furlong conditions stakes by three quarter of a length. Cape Bunting, a bay filly by Cape Cross, ran on strongly in the furlong to win her third race in four outings.
Congratulations to all involved!
