MJR treble at Sandown

Silvestre de Sousa partnered an MJR treble at Sandown. First up was Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s Branscombe who won the 5F novice stakes by a length. Branscombe, by Invincible Spirit, is a half-brother to Yalta, winner of the Molecombe Stakes (G3) last year at Glorious Goodwood.

Falmouth Light under Chelsie Butler

Next, Silvestre partnered Mr Al Mansoori’s Falmouth Light, a juvenile by Cape Cross purchased at the Arqana August yearling sales in Deauville, who was having his first run. Falmouth Light won the 7F maiden by a head.

Dominating with Maurice Forristal up

The treble was completed when Alan Spence’s Dominating took the 14F handicap. The 3yo son of Jukebox Jury responded to his jockey’s demands and won by a length.
