Mildenberger fights to the line

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s Mildenberger travelled to Salisbuty to contest the Stonehenge Stakes, over a mile, alongside another six juveniles. The MJR-trained Teofilo colt tracked the leaders under Franny Norton and came to challenge inside the final furlong to win the Listed event by a nose. Mildenberger, pictured above under Monahar Singh, has raced four times to date. He has won three races and was third in the Group 2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood on August 1.
