Lynwood takes Gold at Newmarket

John Barson’s Lynwood Gold won the nine-furlong nursery at Newmarket under P J McDonald. Lynwood Gold, by Mastercraftsman, chased the leaders from the off, progressed to second place about three from home and took the lead inside the final furlong to win by two and a half lengths. This was the colt’s second win this year from five starts. He also finished second twice.
