Hat-trick for Tropical Air

Tropical Air completed a hat-trick when making all the running under top weight in a Newcastle nursery on October 2. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s Showcasing gelding coped admirably with stepping back in trip to six furlongs, forging clear in the closing stages to score by almost three lengths from Anglesey Lad. The hat-trick has been rattled off in just 16 days, with Tropical Air clearly now on the upgrade.
