Hamilton win for Rampant Lion

Dr Jim Walker’s Rampant Lion (pictured above under Laura Sellers) scored at Hamilton under Joe Fanning in the mile and half a furlong handicap in soft conditions. Despite breaking slow, Rampant Lion and Joe Fanning made good progress throughout to claim the lead over a furlong from the post. From then on, Rampant Lion was in no danger and won the event by three and a quarter lengths.
