Friday’s fillies double
At Chepstow, Franny Norton made all aboard Peach Melba (pictured above under Rima Ram), owned by Lowther Racing & Partner. The three-year-old daughter of Dream Ahead won the seven-furlong handicap by two lengths. Noble Manners completed the double when she took the seven-furlong nursery handicap under Jim Crowley at Newmarket’s evening meeting. The Myboycharlie filly, owned by Mr Abdulla Al Mansoori, dug deep under pressure to win by a neck.
