Four in a day!
It’s been a busy day for the Kingsley Park team!
At Newbury, Communique (pictured above under Harvey Ewart) defeated stablemate Poet’s Prince by one and three quarter length in the Al Zubarah London Gold Cup Handicap. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s three-year-old son of Casamento grabbed the £43,575 on offer under Silvestre de Sousa.
Next to enter the winner’s enclosure was New Winds, but this time it was at Newmarket. The daughter of New Approach, also owned by Sheikh Hamdan bin Moahmmed, made all on her debut to win the six-furlong novice stakes by two lengths under Franny Norton.
The team scored a double at Doncaster’s evening meeting. First up was Kingsley Park 10’s Victory Command, partnered by Jack Mitchell. The War Command colt won the five-furlong novice by one and a half length. Middleham Park XXXVII’s Ventura Knight made it four on the day for the team when taking the mile handicap by half a length under P J McDonald.
Congratulations to all involved!
