Fillies score Tuesday Treble

David Abell’s Dark Angel filly, Katebird, was the first MJR winner of the day when she took the 10F handicap at Beverley under Joe Fanning. Katebird, a grey three-year-old filly, proved too strong for the rest and won by three and a half lengths.
At Leicester’s evening meeting, Hope Against Hope ran in the mile handicap under PJ McDonald. Owned by Thurloe XXXI and Stuart & Ross Counsell, the Dark Angel filly was three lengths clear past the post. Love Oasis (pictured above under Annie Mann), owned by Crone Stud Farms Ltd, disputed the last race on the card. The Oasis Dream filly completed the treble when she took the 6F handicap, also under PJ McDonald, by three an a half lengths. This was Love Oasis’s second win in June. Congratulations to all involved!
