Excelerate finds sixth gear!

Baileys Excelerate (pictured above under Mairead Heap), owned by G R Baileys Ltd (Baileys Horse Feeds), was in charge for most of the 7.5F novice stakes at Beverley under Joe Fanning. The eye-catching juvenile son of Excelebration was having his second career start, having finished third at Musselburgh on debut 12 days earlier. Baileys Excelerate won by a neck, keeping on strongly.
