Baghdad rules in King George V Handicap

The team sent out six runners in the King George V at Royal Ascot, a handicap over 12 furlongs for three-year-olds. Of the six,  Mohammed Bin Hamad Khalifa Al Attiya’s Baghdad (pictured above) obliged in a thrilling finish, digging deep under Andria Atzeni to win by a neck, fighting off Corgi (Jim Crowley) and First Eleven (Frankie Dettori).
Baghdad joined the Kingsley Park team last autumn and has won three of his five starts since then.
Congratualtions to  Mohammed Bin Hamad Khalifa Al Attiya on his Royal winner.
