Across-the-yard Treble for MJR

Mr Abdulla Al Mansoori’s Time To Study won the Edinburgh Cup under Joe Fanning at Musselburgh. The 3yo son of Motivator tracked the leaders for the first 10F of the 14F class 2 handicap. Four from the line, Time To Study took the lead and fought strongly to the line to win by a head.

Thomas Cranmer, owned by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, went on to complete a Scottish double when he took the Class 3 handicap over a mile. Also partnered by Joe Fanning, the 3yo Hard Spun colt made all and won by 1 1/2L.

The Musselburgh double turned into and across-the-card treble when Alan Spence’s Soldier In Action and James Doyle dug deep in the class 2 handicap at Epsom, over 12F, to win by two lengths. This was a sixth career win on the flat for the gelded son of Soldier Of Fortune who also won over hurdles in February.
