Clare & Paul Rooney’s Mind The Crack impressed at Lingfield. Silvestre de Sousa was aboard the three-year-old gelded, by Jukebox Jury, in the 11.5-furlong maiden. Mind The Crack won by five lengths, justifying favouritism in doing so.
The double was completed when Lord Lamington, by Australia and owned by Netherfield House Stud, made all at Sandown’s evening meeting, also ridden by Silvestre, to win the 14-furlong handicap by just a neck in a challenging finish.
Congratulations to all involved.
