When Edge of Darkness won the mile and a half handicap at Thirsk on August 5, his win brought up the century of domestic winners for Johnston Racing in 2023. Remarkably, this is the 30th year in succession in which the stable have achieved this feat, a record unparalleled in the history of the British Turf.
